Patriots will try to trade for his rights and bring him out of retirement...

The Colts franchise and that offense line was God awful terrible smh he kept getting sacked constantly which will take a toll on his body and result in injuries. That franchise never once lifted a finger to get him a better offensive line.

All the best to this dude. Who knows, maybe he'll make a comeback in a few years after he rests his body.

Ryan Clark speaking with sense...Luck made a great decision. NFL teams wanna give players painkillers so they can sacrifice quality of life after football.

Let’s face it if it wasn’t about money (one of highest paid in the NFL) and the fact that he missed the last two years do to injury and then came back just to retire, no one would of LUCK ✌🏿✌🏿✌🏿

  • chrisbowmusic

I’m a Bills fan. He should have waited until halftime of the first game to retire.

  • Glitter

The Indianapolis Colts offensive line was ranked 3rd in the NFL last season. The past 5 years they are ranked in the top 10. Maybe Luck is just brittle and you combine that with waiting until the season starts to retire.

  • billytheweasel

As a Seahawk fan I remember the chant "SUCK FOR LUCK" We wanted the Seahawks to finish the season last and draft Luck. Respect to Andrew Luck and shame on weak ass fans booing him.

Malaysia Will Come for Anyone Who's Talking About Her Kids | Basketball Wives There are few people whom I really love, and still fewer of whom I think well. The more I see of the world, the more am I dissatisfied with it; and every day confirms my belief of the inconsistency of all human characters, and of the little dependence that can be placed on the appearance of merit or sense. You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do.

My reaction to Luck's retirement I think was the same as most people, stunned. Then I thought about my own life experience and it became a bit clearer. I'm not a professional athlete, I have had two brain concussions in sports. I've survived a nearly fatal fight with cancer, multiple complicated surgeries and treatments, so many medications that literally it made me sick. Yet the biggest enemy I faced was hopelessness and it's twin, depression. All those issues shared one thing, pain and pain management. I believe he's fight now is with the ladder and not former. I hope he has a good support team who will tell him the truth about his challenges going forward. And of course lot's prayer.

I have a job where I get a chance to help former NFL players. One of the players told me that the one thing that most NFL players don't do is Financial Plan and set money aside for the future. Luck can now take his money and make it work for him--not work for the money. Some people will say that he is soft, but reality -- he's smart but taking the money and making it work for him.

If Cam Newton retired a week before the season started because he was unhappy or tired of rehabbing....These comments would look way different. If you watch a video about Vontae Davis retiring and read the comments you'll see the difference. I do like Luck and wish him the best, but the hypocrisy is hilarious to me.
